Claire McQuerry's poetry collection, Lacemakers, won the Crab Orchard First Book Prize, and her poems have appeared in Poetry Northwest, American Literary Review, Western Humanities Review, and other journals. She was a recipient of a Walter E. Dakin fellowship and a Dorothy Sargent Rosenberg Prize. She teaches at Whitworth.
